Memorial day is coming up which means for many families, backyard barbeques. A common issue with parties and family gatherings is that not everybody is living a gluten-free lifestyle. Fortunately, as a host, you are capable of only serving delicious gluten-free meals that everybody can enjoy. We chose a variety of different kinds of foods from seafood to pulled pork.

One of the parenting struggles of being a busy mom or dad is trying to plan meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every Friday, we will share our weekly recipe round-up of great gluten free and paleo recipes for you and your family. Our hope is that this is helpful in deciding what you want to make for dinner and makes meal planning a little easier for you.

Emma, of Emma Eats and Explores, has kindly shared this recipe with the world. You can stuff these burgers with many different kinds of cheese not only mozzarella. You can have the burgers prepare beforehand freeing up more family time. The best part about burgers is that everyone can choose their own toppings.

Apricot Bourbon BBQ Grilled Chicken Breasts

How does “Apricot Bourbon BBQ Grilled Chicken Breasts” sound? This is a great choice to make in bulk and chicken breasts is a very popular choice. Sandi, of Fearless Dining, is great for quick and easy meals that do not lack in taste. This recipe takes approximately 30 minutes to cook and is recommended to be on the grill. The combinations of flavors will have the whole barbeque talking about your delicious cooking.

Spice Marinated Salmon with Mango Salsa

Mango salsa is on the rise and gaining popularity at a drastic speed. For the family who likes enjoying seafood while they engage Jessica, of Adventures of a Cavemom, has the perfect recipe for you. “Spice Marinated Salmon with Mango Salsa” is going to bring a whole new feel to the dinner table. This dish is made in the oven for approximately 30 minutes. The salsa can be prepared beforehand leaving you more time to spend with family. 

Grilled Sweet Potatoes

Need a side dish for the barbeque? Stefanie, of Natural Paleo Family, has a fun and delicious way to make sweet potatoes. Her “Grilled Sweet Potatoes” recipe will pair well with all of the other main dishes featured this week. She describes the recipe as easy and explains, “The simplicity adds to the appeal of these amazing grilled sweet potatoes”. This dish takes approximately 25 minutes to make.

Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork

You can never go wrong with pulled pork and it is an easy meal to make in bulk. Valerie, of One Happy Housewife, has a great recipe for “Dr.Pepper Pulled Pork”. Nobody wants to cook in the kitchen all day when the family is visiting which is why this instant pot recipe is a great choice.  For those who want to avoid processed sugar and other chemicals in soda try a cola flavored kombucha.
