About Dads in the House

Dads spending time with children

We all know that motherhood is a beautiful gift. It is also hard, scary, and a plethora of other things. Parenting is traditionally the responsibility of the mother. I feel that fathers should become more active in taking care of their children. I believe in parenting diversity and that jobs or toys should not be gender specific. I also believe in promoting kindness to make this planet a better place.

I’m Ray, better known as Remy’s Dad. I’m a stay-at-home/ work-at-home dad, along with a list of other things: I cook (professionally and personally), I clean, I travel, I research, and I organize a local dads group. To keep up with my many roles, I am fueled by organic coffee. I am also passionate about bringing you helpful parenting information that helps busy moms and dads navigate the parenting struggles of everyday life.
